We have a big weekend ahead of us. It is our first Sunday to worship at Watkins Middle School (Map). We are having one combined worship service at 10 am.

There is only one adult class meeting: Jim William's The Present Word class at 9 am in Meeting Space D (don't worry...we'll have signage to help you find it).

Everything will be set up so we can all walk about and familiarize ourselves with the layout. Get there a little early and take a look around. There is a big parking lot around behind the school with plenty of space for all of us.

For this Sunday, the elementary-age kids will be in the Teaching Theatre just behind the cafeteria. Infants, toddlers, and preschoolers will be in their regular space. (Yes, I know you don't know where the regular space is yet!) We'll have plenty of people to help point the way.

And here is some more good news: We met with the principal of Watkins and he says we can leave up as much of our equipment as we want for the summer! We'll be figuring out this weekend what we don't want to leave out, but we are definitely going to get a much-deserved break on the set-up and tear-down for a couple of months. Yay, God!

I like Watkins already.
