Tuesday night our Director of Community Development and Outreach shared with the elders all of the things we did in November to bless our community. I thought you might like to see it:
Star of Hope
- Women's Ministry collected 116 gifts for the Star of Hope
CAM (Cypress Assistance Ministry)
- There are 15 volunteers on a regular basis volunteering at CAM with their various ministries or projects
- 8 young adults and men did home repair to siding, roofing, and kitchen drawers of a CAM client
- Youth ministry purchased over $700 worth of gifts and made 15+ children's stockings for CAM
Habitat for Humanity
- Lifepath dedicated its first Faith Build house with Habitat for Humanity
Tipps Elementary
- Four volunteers participated in Tipps Turkey Trot Fun Run
- Four volunteers participated in Tipps KISS (Kids Invite Someone Special) Turkey Feast
- The teacher appreciation coordinator gave apples and encouraging notes to each teacher and staff member of Tipps elementary
- A Lifepath member has been teaching science lessons and labs each week at Tipps
- Two Lifepath members participated in the math and science camp Saturday at Tipps
- A lifepath small group collected highlighters and gel pens needed for all the 4th graders needed for reading and math
Africa
- Lifepath sponsored the airfare for congregation member to do medical missions for a week in her native village located in Nigeria
Sock Drive
- Two Lifepath members are coordinating the December sock drive for St. John's UMC Saturday homeless mission
Mentors
- There are 9 mentors from Lifepath are currently meeting with a mentee on a weekly basis at Tipps
Prison Ministry
- Lifepath members gave over $2000 to our prison ministry partnership
All of this represents just our November efforts. Wow! You have really embraced the Inside-Out Concept. God is using you to make a difference. Thank you, Lifepath Church!
