Allie, the kids, and I had a great vacation camping in the mountains of North Carolina. We spent time with both Allie's and my families and had fun whitewater rafting and dealing with black bears in our camp. At some point in the near future I'll post some pictures of our trip (for the few of you who actually like looking at pictures of other people's vacations).
But as much fun as we had, we missed you guys! I look forward to seeing yo ...

Please pray for our students and their leaders as they get ready to leave for a week-long mission trip in Arkansas. Our Student Ministry Director Nicholas Jones will be leaving on Saturday with a group of 25 students and adults. They'll return on July 10. Please pray for transformation in their lives, and in the lives of the people they will serve. Pray also for a wonderful time of fellowship, and strength and stamina for the adults on the trip.

It may be summer, but there's still lots of activities going on at Lifepath! If you're not sure where you can plug in, pay special attention to the screens on Sunday mornings. If you're still not sure how to best get involved, just stop a staff member on Sunday morning, or give us a call in the church office (281.855.0222). We're happy to talk with you and get you connected to our church family.
Don't miss the details about our summer

Most of you have had an opportunity to join us for worship at Watkins Middle School (Map), but on the off chance that folks have been out of town, we just wanted to remind everyone once again that we've moved.

We have a big weekend ahead of us. It is our first Sunday to worship at Watkins Middle School (Map). We are having one combined worship service at 10 am.
There is only one adult class meeting: Jim William's The Present Word class at 9 am in Meeting Space D (don't worry...we'll have signage to help you find it).
Everything will be set up so we can all walk about and familiarize ourselves with the layout. Get there a little early and take a look around. There is a big parking lot around behind the school with plenty of space for all of us.
For this Sunday, the elementary-age kids will be in the Teaching Theatre just behind the cafeteria. Infants, tod ...

This is our last Sunday at Labay Middle School. We are having one joint worship service, beginning at 10 am. After the music, kindergarten through 5th grade kids will go to our children's area for some fun activities. Babies, infants and preschoolers may be dropped off at childcare before the service begins. During the service we will have a brief report on the results of our capital fund campaign and our next steps for purchasing a permanent facility.
The following Sunday, June 6, will be our first Sunday at Watkins Middle School (click here for a map). To make things simpler for that first Sunday, we will also do one joint worship service beginning at 10 am.
I look forward to seeing you this Sunday!

There is good news on all fronts this week:
- The total raised for the capital fund campaign stands at $1,262,000. This is amazing! I am so thankful for everyone's generosity and the blessings of a good God. The dream and vision to establish a permanent facility for Lifepath Church are definitely moving forward.
- We are moving to Watkins Middle School on June 6. We announced last Sunday that we had just been informed that Labay Middle School is doing renovations and we have to move out by the end of May. Yipes! We took those lemons and decided God wanted to make lemonade by moving us into our target area a little earlier than anticipated. Here are a few details:
- Address of Watkins: 4800 Cairnvillage, Houston, TX 77084 ...

I hope you've had a great week. I want to remind you that this Sunday is the last official Sunday for our capital fund campaign to purchase a new facility. So far we have 79 cards turned in for a total of $807,534. We're doing well but I'd love to see us go over the 1 million mark with another 20 or 30 pledges.
After the pledge campaign ends, we will, of course, accept additional pledges but we will be talking to bankers soon. So, if you haven't made a pledge, we'd love for you to do so this Sunday. If you need another card you can click Read More »

Don't forget to turn in your pledge cards for the capital fund campaign. As of yesterday we had 33 cards representing $560,714 in cash and pledges.
The pledges are a big piece of what we need to talk with the bank, so even if your pledge isn't a big one, it's still important!
If you need another card you can ask our treasurer Carol Castro to mail you one, pick one up on Sunday, or click here to download one from our website.
I'll see you Sunday!
